This collector's coin, the second in the series dedicated to Portuguese Musicians, was designed by the legendary guitarist Tó Trips, who was a member of the duo Dead Combo for many years. It features two of the band's greatest icons: on the front, an "X" as the group's symbol, and on the back, the "X" that fans make with their arms, as a sign of recognition, during their epic concerts.

Gui, João Cabeleira, Kalú, Tim and Zé Pedro marked the 20th and 21st centuries with their energy and creativity. They emerged when rock was imported, and earned respect. They formed on the spur of the moment, debuting on January 13, 1979, and have been racking up hits ever since.
